The Rural Voices on a Changing Land project will arrive at a unique community description of the land and what you see changing using words that are specific to the people of Lake County. At the conversations, you will see images and stories shared by others already and help capture what is unique to Lake County in our own words.
A partnership of Friends of Lake County Library, Lake County Library District, Lake County Resources Initiative, and PLAYA, supported by Oregon Cultural Trust, the Rural Voices project brought the My Lake County Landscape photography shows to Lakeview, Paisley, and Christmas Valley earlier this year, and will soon be launching an interactive map website to collect even more pictures and ideas from Lake County residents.
Questions about the project may be sent to Library Director Amy Hutchinson at 541-947-6019 or amyh@lakecountylibrary.org.
